Why Choose Austria?

Austrians are extremely friendly and welcoming, even towards international students. Austria is home to cities such as Vienna, Graz, Innsbruck, and Salzburg, which are among the ideal places in the world to live and study, boasting culture, safety, and modern infrastructure. There are a number of universities in Austria that rank well in global university rankings, offering a high standard of general and specialist education. Austria attracts international students and overseas students to come here because of its attractive tuition fees, low living costs compared to other Western European countries, and high-quality universities. A lot of universities have robust research centers and industry collaborations, with many providing internships and paid work placements to help with your career potential. Students can work part-time (20 hours max every week) easily during their studies to cover their living costs. Tuition fees and living expenses are easily paid with competitive salaries available in Austria. Common areas of study are Engineering, Business Administration, Agriculture, Health Sciences, Arts, and Social Sciences. A significant benefit is the ability for students to bring their spouses, with dependents able to work full-time while students can study. And on top of that, there are a plethora of permanent residency options available to international students under Austria’s skilled migration pathways, as well – newly graduated students can apply for a residence permit extension to look for work after they graduate!
